Неожиданно, но у велосипедиста вероятность погибнуть в ДТП *сильно* меньше, чем у пешехода (и примерно такая же, как у пассажира самолета).

Эти цифры, как я понимаю, не пересчитаны на количество пользователей и показана "средняя по больнице". Т.е. на велосипедах просто мало ездят. Если не ездишь на велосипеде, то риска умереть на нем соответственно и нет.

Больше показательны риски умереть задохнувшись едой. Или то, что умереть от самовредительства шансов в 2 раза больше, чем быть убитым преступниками.
